Valentine's Day is over and it was perfect!!! When I got back from my lunch break there were 12 lavander roses, a box of cholocates (like my hips need it haha), and a tiny bear on my desk. I nearly cried when I saw them. I called Doug right away and he pretended it wasn't him, even though his name was on my card in the roses....silly husband!! I love him so much. He is the best thing in my life!!! For supper we went to East Side Mario's...mmm yummie and then went home....I won't get in to that. **wink wink**
Well, I have been really distrubed about where I am in my career life. I am not where I want to be but the pay and benefits are great, especially here in Newfoundland where the economy sucks ass unless you are full time and in a union. I hate this business stuff and I miss the medical part of my training and education. But what is a chick to do when you are stuck career wise? I have had so much help from family, friends, and space freinds looking out for job postings and related career opportunites. Thanks Carolyn and Jennifer. Keep those possiblities coming. My first step is to fill out a medical application for the Eastern Health Care. I plan to do that over the weekend. Who knows maybe I will get lucky and find the career I want....maybe!!!!
Anyhoo, Doug and I are up to our asses in renovations. We have two rooms completed and was not planning on doing anything else until we saved a little money, well that didn't happened. The other night the was no water flow to the bathrub/shower. So, we had to strip out the bathroom and go to Kents and buy new stuff....what a mess!! But it will be well worth it when it is done. Just so you know we have two bathrooms, so we are not smelly..hahaha.
Well, I should get back to my work, thank the good lord it is Friday.....I hate going to work in the mornings and I can't wait for 5:00 in the afternoon....c'mon 5:00!!!!!!!
