Facebook

Well it seems I have fell victim to facebook. I had people trying to convince me it was this great thing...and I was wary to think it was. I didn't think there was anything bettter than spaces....well all I have to say is look our spaceland, is this the end of spaceland? On facebook I have re-connected with old friends from years ago...and to be honest now that I think about it, good lord I feel OLD!!!! So many memories!! Well, if it seems I am not updating as often, it is because of facebook....but please leave a commnet here if you visit. I do check throughout the day!! And I will respond.

Anyhoo, Doug is in Ajax. FRANCA, I wish I was up there!! But between Douglas and the two dogs I think I will not have time to be lonely. Miss ya babe!!

JUST BLOGGIN'

Hey All....well it is another day, and boy am I feeling the wrath of PMS. Sorry guys, but I am sure you are not interested in hearing me rant about the reprecutions of my womenhood...anyone got a midol!!!! LOL

Anyhoo....well I had plans in the making to go to Ontario in April but due to last moment planning I can not make it. However, there is another chance I will make it in July...it all depends on money, and Doug and mine holiday schdule. So there is hope FRANCA!!! HAHAHA

Well, due to my moodiness I am now not in the mood to blog....so I am off again to spread my good cheer around the office.....maybe I should have a sign on me saying "Be Ware" LOL

How are things out there in space land? Things here is my space are as they say

"da same ol', same ol'". It seems all I do is eat, work and sleep. And to be honest

my highlight of the week is being home on the weekends doing house cleaning....ooooo the

excitement never ends here is Kendra's Korner. HAHAH But than again I am not really

being honest or fair. Last weekend we went to a friends house for BBQ (yes a BBQ in

below zero temps) and it was so good!!! And we stayed at a hotel for the night....so well,

I quess my life is not that boring HAHA.

Your opinion please........have you ever noticed how the social circle of spaces have decreased

dramastically? When I first entered spaceland I was consistantly trying to keep up with the

comments on a daily basis, but now I am lucky if I get one every day or two. I use to love to get

new space hoppers droppin' by......has live in space land become boring for us spacers?

Anhyoo and special Happy Birthday goes out to a very special family memeber!! He is 8

years old today and one of my special babies!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Meeko, you will get

treat from the pet store tonight!!

Finally, I want to send tons of hugs and luck to one of my best space friends FRANCA!!

This girl has been such an inspriation to me...wow where do I begin. I guess I do not need

to explain just say THANK YOU girl you so totally rock!! Today she has to get prepared

for a major sugery for tomorrow. She has been so sick for about a year now, and finally she

is getting it resolved. I hope this long road of sickness will finally end you can you be yourself

again. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A VERY FAST RECOVERY!!

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!

Well it is the first day of spring, but it sure does not feel like it. It is cold and we are soppose to get a lot of wind and blowing snow today **blah** I can not wait for the weather to warm up and for thes summer to go camping in the trailer in the middle of no were.**sigh**

I want to decdicate this blog to the Pouch Cove Volunteer Fire Department (PCFD). I am sure none of them will see this but I want to tell everyone how proud I am of them, especially my husband. 2:00 AM Wednesday morning they were called to a house fire. The house burnt out completly but thankfully there were no injuries. The house was a neighbour of mine, who I never knew very well, but watching that house burn like it did from my living wondow made me think how lucky I am....things could really be worst!! I get nervous when Doug recieves a call to emergency situations, especially after seeing "911-Twin Towers" and "Ladder 49". I am very proud of you babe, and yes a man in uniform is so sexy!!LOL

Anyhoo, last Sunday it was gorgous here, so Doug and I cleaned out the basement. After the mess we had upstair with the bathroom, everything got pushed to the basement. But thankfully we have is cleared away. We are planning on Saturday to put the Tv and entertainment centre down there. Maybe this will motivate me to work out since the gymn is down there we well. We shall see...

I"M BACK!!

Hi everyone!!

Well, I am back from a few days off work. It was so nice to relax, although I did do some cleaning and finish the bathroom. However, we found another leak in theh walls...holy snap, will the bad luck ever end. So, now Doug has to cut through the kitchen walls to get to the plumbing to the bathroom because we do not want to cut through the tub kit and have to replace it again. We had planned to re-do the kitchen anyhow, but we never anticipated it would be this soon. This project will be a long time getting done. But it is a start I guess.

I started selling Avon for a little pocket money. This is my first week and I am doing really well. I am hoping this will work out alot better than the business I started last year.

Anyhoo, there is nothing more the say. I am at the office wishing my time as always. 15 more mintues and it is time to go home......

IS THIS IT FOR ME???

Valentine's Day is over and it was perfect!!! When I got back from my lunch break there were 12 lavander roses, a box of cholocates (like my hips need it haha), and a tiny bear on my desk. I nearly cried when I saw them. I called Doug right away and he pretended it wasn't him, even though his name was on my card in the roses....silly husband!! I love him so much. He is the best thing in my life!!! For supper we went to East Side Mario's...mmm yummie and then went home....I won't get in to that. **wink wink**

Well, I have been really distrubed about where I am in my career life. I am not where I want to be but the pay and benefits are great, especially here in Newfoundland where the economy sucks ass unless you are full time and in a union. I hate this business stuff and I miss the medical part of my training and education. But what is a chick to do when you are stuck career wise? I have had so much help from family, friends, and space freinds looking out for job postings and related career opportunites. Thanks Carolyn and Jennifer. Keep those possiblities coming. My first step is to fill out a medical application for the Eastern Health Care. I plan to do that over the weekend. Who knows maybe I will get lucky and find the career I want....maybe!!!!

Anyhoo, Doug and I are up to our asses in renovations. We have two rooms completed and was not planning on doing anything else until we saved a little money, well that didn't happened. The other night the was no water flow to the bathrub/shower. So, we had to strip out the bathroom and go to Kents and buy new stuff....what a mess!! But it will be well worth it when it is done. Just so you know we have two bathrooms, so we are not smelly..hahaha.

Well, I should get back to my work, thank the good lord it is Friday.....I hate going to work in the mornings and I can't wait for 5:00 in the afternoon....c'mon 5:00!!!!!!!

HOLY SNAP MY SPACE IS WORKING AGAIN!!!

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY.......my space is working again. I have had problems with it since the beginning of Dec. I am so happy!!! A HUGH SHOUT OUT TO FRANCA!! Thanks girl you so totally rock for helping me and getting feedback from MSN Help. Wow, I am so excited!!! Let the goodtimes roll in space land!!

Anyhoo, I am patiently watching the Atantic Radar Imagery. Copy the link and paste it into your URL Adress box to see the big blob hovering over Newfoundland. Will I be lucky enough to be asked to go home due to bad weather...crossing my fingers folks. The weatehr network is prediciting two storms in a 24 hour period. Will this madness ever end!!

Well for those of you who know,and for those of you who do not know, the doctor says I will live. I grazed my finger along some broken glass, after the storm took out the back window of our SUV last Wednesday. It required stitches but I convinced the doctor with my charming looks and personality not to do it. I have a hugh fear of stitches. I know, a hugh baby I am!!

Well, that is about my friends out there in space land. Hope you are all well.

My life is like an angry sea of which I sail the unknown

It waves beat against me as I am thrown.

I sail this sea alone and hold on with all my might

But I am sinking farther the harder I try to fight.

Is there a light to shown and guide me on my way
